EARTH UNDER FAST PRESSURE: MAN´S FAST FOOD SYSTEM

By Gundhramns Hammer

The "needs" of the few outweigh the real needs of the many.

Oozy, splashing, wheezing and gurgling sounds came from behind the wall. Fast! Faster! Faster!! Faster!!!! Faster!!!!!! Oh, my gosh, oh, my gosh ...John!!! ... John!!!! Faster!!! screamed a woman that was being nailed to the hilt upstairs.

Or was it a "man" with a feminine voice? Who knows in this world turned upside down!

The heavy breathing became faster and faster until there was an explosion of fast moanings, grunts and howls as the couple, intertwined together like a rose bush, finished fast their secret whoopee encounter.

They had to do it faster since the philanderer that had plugged-in fast in the milking machine was expecting his wife home any time soon from the fast lane.

It was the quickest quickie. It was the fastest pseudoreproductive encounter, performed under the spell of faster is better like everything else is done in a world wrapped in a fast and faster craziness that has grabbed man by his guts.

Fast sex, fast coffee, fast foods, fast marriages, fast divorces, etc., etc. Everything is fast.

The cities are inundated with fast. Technology changes fast. People become mad fast. Movies have become sequences of fast shots to give the impression of fast action to please crowds of Homo insapiens that want everything fast.

People travel fast. People eat fast food but cannot shit fast, which means they accumulate poop in their large intestine, i.e., walk constipated, and in the end they get cancer fast.

Some people shit fast but stay longer in the bathroom, smelling their farts in order to escape the fast rat race of their crazy unhappy marriages or unhappy together fast lives.

People complain their lives are running too fast.

Everything is dressed with fast.

Humans get fast what they want fast. Fast, faster is what counts today otherwise people get really upset fast if they don´t get it fast when they want it fast in their fast pace life that really fucks them up fast.

But fast has a heavy price.

Above all, fast food is one of those fast things that is causing tremendous harm and damage not only to humans and domestic animals in factory farms but also to the basis of their health: The environment.

Earth is now under pressure by man´s fast food chain system.

Tropical forests are cleared to make room for cattle destined for the fast food industry. In tropical and temperate regions, large tracts of land are cultivated for the crops to get the raw materials to manufacture the animal feed to raise animals as fast as possible for the fast food chain.

In some parts of the world humans are consuming more than what they need and as a consequence they are suffering of poor health.

Whereas in other regions, people are left with nothing to eat because the "needs" of the few outweigh the real needs of the many.

Humans are now living under the dominance of fast food giants.

Schlosser (2002) points out that in 1970, U.S. consumers spent almost $6 billion in fast food; in 2001, they gobbled up $10 billion. According to this author, "Americans now spend more money on fast food than on higher education, personal computers, computer software, or new cars. From cradle to the grave, people eat fast food".

As expected, fast people have their favourite fast foods (Fig. 1). And their favourite junk food has a social media value (Fig. 2).

This is a lot of bread out of the junk food! No wonder Nature is being screwed up. Too many fast food loving human rats munching on the Biospheric cheese!!

After all, this junk food does not come out of a food synthesizer on the Enterprise star ship but out of Nature. So Nature is under fast pressure, the pressure of man´s fast food system.

And also keep in mind that this fast food system has ramifications. So when you eat a hamburger, you are really sucking up the blood of countless animals that were killed when the tract of forest was chopped down in the tropics to make space for the cows.

At the same time, you also send to hell the poor people who scratch their living out of the forests. More than 1 billion people around the world depend on the forests to get their food, practicing food gathering and hunting.

And the overall outcome, people are getting sicker as a result of this sick system.

Where does the fast food chain power come from?

The power of this fast food engine comes from the large herds of dumb people, the chemically bewitched consumers.

Once this system is well fed, the energy accumulated at the top is applied downwards and outwards, channeled under the might of an oligarchy who wants to squeeze fast the economic juice out of the masses of dumb people that have been manipulated and turned into whimsical beasts which only crave and consume what is fast and behave as blind herds that are running fast on the fast lane towards extinction.

In a world of finite resources, man should slow down his fast consumption otherwise Nature may soon have the last laugh on him.

If you are serious about finding out what man´s fast food pressure is doing to Earth, make sure you read Eric Schlosser´s book entitled "Fast Food Nation: What the all-american meal is doing to the world".

But don´t go too fast on this book, albeit dense reading, go slow to get the gist behind the fast food chain that has you chained up.

Now it is up to you whether you should go fast or slow. But remember: Eat fast, fast food, faster, then you exist fast.
