Social engineering starts with you. And history is one of the tools used for this job.

From a very early age at school, you are taught what they want you to be taught so that you never know what you should have been taught.

Getting out of this cage is not easy. The grains of truth are well hidden in mountains of chaff.

If you were not there to witness history unfolding before your own eyes and you were not keen enough to see what you should had seen and not what they had wanted you to see, as time goes by the historical facts lend themselves to be mixed with chaff.

This way you may get only one side of the many sides of a historical fact.

What you get it will depend on the interpretation of a historian who may or may not be tuned to the sounds coming out of the string of truth.

History is malleable. It can be bent, twisted, cut, added, falsified, modified, misrepresented, altered, slurred, erased, rearranged, moulded, manipulated, blurred... Anything suitable to the desires of those who control the herds of human cattle can be done to it.

In other words, history may be faked, lopsided or counterfeited.

It is up to each of us to search for the needle of truth in the stack of chaff. It is not an easy task but you will never be bored, we can tell you that for sure.

An interesting example would be what happened in a small Californian town during World War II.

According to The Bored Ninja´s article entitled "The Army Built a Fake Town On Top of a War Factory" (view the original here, the photos are larger), this is what happened:

"A Lockhead aircraft plant in California was disguised as a small town in order to hide it from possible air attacks by the Japanese. Large camouflage netting was placed over the entire area and small houses and other buildings were placed on top. From the ground it obviously looked rather strange, but it created a pretty effective illusion to anyone making quick pass in an airplane. Check out the before and after pictures below:"

Thus, without these pictures or perhaps the facts of anybody who ever lived or worked in this town at that time, we could be easily told anything about it.

That was then. Now with the new visual technologies anything in the fantasy realm is possible.

Historically speaking, we are more vulnerable than ever before. More so when most people prefer historical fiction.

Anyway, following the same line of thought, we leave you with a couple of videos on fakes, doubles or impostor leaders to think about:

All in all, this is a backdoor.

And remember, the enemy is extremely smart. But quite dumb too in the long run.

Have you found this backdoor yet? Is it guarded against intruders?
