IMAGES RULE OUR LIVES: HOW ART MADE THE WORLD

We already live in a sort of Matrix world. We are held prisoners in a social bubble where the chains are invisible. The invention of such a system where people feel free notwithstanding they are chained up was one of the most ingenious social inventions.

Images rule our lives. They tell us how to behave, what to think, what to do, what to eat, what to shop, what to talk about, what to read, what to watch, where to go, how to talk about, how to dress, how to have fun and even how to feel and how to fuck.

People are hooked to a remote control just like a TV set and they don´t give a thought or give a damn about it. And most people are not happy despite of the huge amounts of paraphernalia they accumulate under the guidance of their masters. 

In this world there are two kinds of people: puppets, the vast majority of humans, and puppeteers, around 300 families who decide what to do with our lives. And everything under the disguise of "democracy" or is it "daemocracy?
