Monsanto está extendiendo su poder por el mundo con la construcción de una gigantesca fábrica de semillas mutantes en Argentina. Sofía Gatica y los vecinos de Malvinas están protestando y, como resultado, han sido amenazados y víctimas de golpizas. La amenaza es inminente -- vamos a apoyarlos y a detener la planta.

Monsanto fabrica semillas transgénicas que, combinadas con pesticidas tóxicos, crean un tipo de ‘monocultivos’ letales que arrasan con todo menos sus transgénicos -- y están invadiendo todo el planeta. Ahora mismo quieren construir una de sus plantas de semillas de maíz más grande del mundo en Malvinas, Córdoba.

Sofía, preocupada por los riesgos para la salud que conlleva la planta, se unió a las protestas de los vecinos de Malvinas, respaldadas por cerca de 70% de personas en Córdoba. Si un millón de personas apoyamos a los vecinos en los próximos 3 días, podremos elevar la denuncia en los medios de comunicación, lanzar la petición en una campaña publicitaria y empujar a la controversial Presidenta Argentina a frenar la planta y la tóxica expansión de Monsanto.

Monsanto's extending its power over the globe, with a massive new frankenseed factory in Argentina. Sofía Gatica and local neighbours have spoken out, and she has received death threats and a brutal beating. The threat is urgent -- let's stand with them and stop the plant.

Monsanto manufactures the genetically modified seeds that, when combined with toxic pesticides, create the devastating 'monocultures' -- where nothing grows but a single plant -- that increasingly cover our planet. Now they plan to build one of the world's largest GM seed factories in Malvinas.

Sofía, worried about health risks from the plant, has joined the protests, backed by nearly 70% of the area's residents. If 1 million of us join the people of Malvinas in the next 3 days, we can raise the profile of the issue in local media, feature the petition in an ad campaign, and push the unpopular Argentine President to shut down the plant and roll back the spread of Monsanto's toxic agriculture.
