Did you know that the Italian physicist Enrico Fermi (29 Sept 1901-28 Nov 1954) was a freemason? He was a member of the Lemmi Lodge in Rome, Italy, where past grand masters included Giuseppe Garibaldi.and Giuseppe Mazzini, two of Italy´s "fathers of the fatherland".

How about Alexander Fleming (6 Aug 1881-11 Mar 1955), the Scottish discoverer of the antibiotic properties of the Penicillium mould? Was he a freemason too?

Yes, he was. Fleming was initiated at the Sancta Maria Lodge Nº 2682 of London in 1909, then he continued at the London Scottish Rifles´ Lodge Nº 2310, and others.

Did both men have another thing in common? Yes, they both were Fellows of the Royal Society (FRS) in London, England.

Does the name Sir Moses Haim Montefiori (24 Oct 1784-28 Jul 1885) ring any bell to you? Probably not.

Born in Italy, Montefiori was a financial agent of the famous house of Rothschild, the one whose capital is believed to be US $300 trillions.

He had married Judith Cohen, Nathan Mayer Rothschild´s sister in law (Henriette or Hannah Cohen) and was the leader of the Anglo-Jewish community and also founder of the Alliance Assurance in 1824. Judith and Hannah were daughters of Levi Baret Cohen and Lydia Diamantscheifer (Fig. 1).

Sir Moses Haim Montefiori was a freemason and was initiated at the Moira Lodge Nº 143 (now Nº 92) in London on the 13th of April, 1842. He was also a FRS. His parents were Joseph Elias Montefiori Magood and Rachel Mocatta.

His father had a sister named Rachel who had married Joseph Moses Nuñes Castello, parents of David Castello Montefiori

The Montefiori, Rothschild, Warburg, Koppel and Michelsen families are connected to Colombia´s banks as well as to the global banking system, including the Federal Reserve of the United States.

David Castello Montefiori, a jew from Curaçao (West Indies), Sir Moses Haim Montefiori´s  first cousin and Simon Bolivar´s friend, came to Cartagena, Colombia, in 1808. He was married to Mary Da Fonseca Brandon. Mary was Benjamin Disraeli´s first cousin. Benjamin Disraeli was also Queen Victoria´s prime minister (Fig 2).

David Castello Montefiori was the founder of the Banco de Colombia (Bank of Colombia) and his brother-in-law, Salomon D. Koppel was its first president (Fig. 2).

At the same time, David Castello Montefiori financed the War of Independence from the Gran Colombia with capital from his family and relatives in London, Amsterdam and other European countries.

This brief bird´s eye view should have given you an idea of the labyrinth of knowledge, power, money and family interconnections that rule the world. The same people keep the whole cake to themselves. As they say "Birds of the same feather flock together".
