Humans (Homo insapiens) are short-sighted creatures. Despite this, they love to play with fire, setting on fire what should never be set on fire without ever measuring the consequences of their fucking around with fire.
They do it all the time!

As usual, approaching from an angle the infinite realm of fire, the experts, playing with scientific and statistical models are paid to do serious failure hunting in the complex system, supposedly to prevent any accidents but fall short of the coming consequences of their fire.
In the end, a few, those folks who control the money, finish up the line a lot richer; some climb a step higher in the military ladder; others get congratulated with fancy official certificates, letters and medals; and some get a salary raise but nevertheless, in the unleashed man-made hell, many people get fucked up, wind up sick, killed or finish up with a deeply burnt asshole.
After the ashes have settled down, it now comes the time for the winning parties to talk a lot of bullshit, the losers to lick their open wounds or bury their dead and of course, sooner or later for everyone to see the end results of their playing with fire in a complex system which since the beginning was bound to be screwed up in the first place.
What are the results?
Everybody is fucked up, living in a planet which is more contaminated with each passing day.
One of the best examples of our fucking species playing with fire is the use of depleted uranium weapons (DUW).
