We are in the midst of a big fart. A fart, that according to some scientists, is linked directly to our anti-biospheric activities on Earth such as fossil fuel burning on a massive scale never seen before worldwide, amongs other things.
Carbon here, carbon there, carbon everywhere. Life on this planet is carbon-based. This is true.
And it is also true that we have been unlocking carbon to fire up our civilisation everywhere since the "industrial revolution".
Since then, we have been on a industrial devolution: Putting carbon back to the atmosphere, i.e., farting out hydrocarbon gases from automobile tailpipes to smoke stacks of factories and power plants, adding to the one that is already everywhere upsetting the balance that is everywhere on Earth.

As a result, under the effect of rising temperatures, some parts of the permafrost fields of Siberia are farting hydrocarbons (e.g., methane) due to melting, giving rise to giant craters (Video 1) that can be seen from the sky.
So is the bottom of the oceans. Methane is now reaching the surface, upsetting the balance of Earth´s gas budget.

What we are talking about is the presence of gas plumes on land and oceans: Earth´s farts.
Earth is having a bad digestion because of its Homo insapiens´ fucking around and tampering with its cycles.

We are in a dangerous environmental mess. And at the same time our mess is causing havoc in animal populations around the globe.
For instance, the size of the populations of polar bears (Ursus maritimus) in the southern Hudson Bay (Canada) has declined ca. 22% between 1987 and 2004. This is due to changes is ice patterns (breakup 10 days earlier per decade), according to Obbard et al. (2007).
In other words, Spring is getting ahead and the warm temperatures break up the ice too soon. The polar bear depends on sea ice for feeding, breeding, and movement (Hunter et al., 2010).
If you are a mama polar bear coming out of hibernation with two cubs to feed faced with this early ice breakup, you will have a hard time catching a seal for you and your offspring to eat. You and you kids could starve to death.
In fact, this is what is happening to polar bears.
The problem of climate change is serious. So serious that some scientists are no longer using wimpy and sweet language to soothe things down to the public.

One example is a Danish expert. Professor Dr. Jason Box, a member of the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland, has recently said that: “If even a small fraction of Arctic sea floor carbon is released to the atmosphere, we're fucked.”

Now comes the ice topping on this cake.
Some solar physicists have discovered that the Sun´s magnetic field is about to flip (Video 3) affecting the entire Solar system. And Earth´s magnetic fieldd is weakening (Video 4). This means a shower of solar particles for all earthlings soon.
