El siguiente documental de la BBC nos muestra a Tibet antes de la invasión, un mundo feudal en pleno siglo XX gobernado por un sistema dual de familias aristocráticas y monjes budistas, quienes vivían en la opulencia y abundancia encima de un pueblo sumergido en la pobreza, al menos es lo que el film deja entrever.
Para conocer la auténtica realidad del Tibet de esa época había que haber estado allí. No obstante el documental es fascinante desde cualquier punto de vista. Disfrutadlo.
"The day each and every Chinese gets a full refrigerator we´re finished", remarked once my ecology professor at the university. He was damn right!
That day is already here and the prospects for man´s survival have turned gleemer. Unfortunately China is a copycat of the American way of life, a path of senseless consumption of Earth´s finite resources.
Chinese have become a gooey mass of heartless larvae that see the world only as a huge chunk of meat to devour (Fig. 1). These larvae drill and swallow anything in their way. Be it insect or elephant it does´t matter as long as they can sink their teeth on it.

The Dragon has awakened and it´s got an enormous appetite for natural resources. It sucks blood above and below.
The Baiji dolphins (Lipotes vexillifer), for instance, lived and flourished in the Yangtze River for more than 19 million years before ecovampires arrived on the scene. Thereafter the Chinese people deteriorated the dolphin´s habitat, polluted the waters, hunted them down, built the Three Gorges Dam, and crowded the river with hundreds of boats and ships going up and down the river, making life impossible for the Baijis.
The scientists of the Yantze Freshwater Dolphin Expedition declared Baijis functionally extinct on December 13, 2006.
The African elephants (Loxodonta africana) are next. Chinese are now sinking their fangs quite deeply on the elephant´s neck. Although there is a ban on elephant ivory commerce worldwide since 1989, most Chinese do not give a damn about the survival of one of the last megafaunal creatures of Africa. Ivory contraband out of Africa towards China is already taking a heavy toll on these animals.
Most Chinese are into ivory collecting as a hobby. Having a collection of small ivory figures is considered a status symbol in China (Fig. 2).
Someone once said that any fucking ecovampire (Macropsichos megabiocidus=Homo "sapiens") that is caught killing an elephant to extract the tusks of a poor creature or found smuggling ivory should be shot right in the forehead on the spot! No need to beat about the bush!! Just take a look at the following picture (Fig. 3) and you´ll see why. Whoever did this is a fucking bastard!!

The future of the elephants is in China´s hands. If China does not curb the ivory demand, elephants will not survive in Africa.
China has taken the wrong turn. The Third Law of Thermodynamics is being ignored. Energy is being squandered in order to become the alpha baboons on Earth.
Furthermore, Chinese are reduced to mere commodities to be exploited at the factories to produce the massive quantities of trinkets of all kinds that the flocks of sheep demand. The environment has been heavily contaminated along the way. This is utterly stupid!
Chinese are the perfect ecovampires. If it took an entire world to support the British Empire, five Earths will be needed to withstand the Chinese´s quest for supremacy and remain on the throne.
The new bully on the block is already flexing his muscles (Video 1). We are finished! We need an Alternative 5 right now!!

We are at the brink of a nuclear war that will send all of us to hell. Fear is at the gist of the whole thing. Israel and its allies are planning a preemtive attack on Iran to destroy their nuclear facilities. Iran repeatedly has said that its atomic programme is for peaceful purposes. It is a stick for deterrence.
Once it starts one thing will lead to another. China (Video 1) has said that if the West attacks Iran they will respond even with nuclear arms if it is necessary. Next will come Russia (Video 2) on Iran´s side. Pretty soon we will have a horrible armageddon on our hands as the Bible´s prophecies have predicted a long time ago.

If it happens analysts say that we would never recuperate from it. The social structure of the world as we know it would collapse.

What´s at stake? No doubt it is oil and the destruction of Iran´s central bank, an institution that belongs to the government. This bank is not controlled by powerful familes as banks are in the West. And this makes a whole of a lot of difference. We all know how western banks choke us with high interest rates.
The immediate consequences of such a war would be that we would not get any oil from the Middle East in Europe and neither in the United States. The Middle East is the world´s main hub for oil (Fig. 1)

There is also the danger that terrorist groups (Hamas, Hezbollah)will take sides with Iran. And these know that the West is very vulnerable (Fig. 2).

We must be alert for any developments in the Middle East. It is time we wake up in the West and kick right in the balls or ovaries so many politicians that are not for the people but themselves.
And let us pray that World War III will never break loose, for we the inhabitants of this planet will be in the end the losers of such a nuclear holocaust.

Entre las tribus originales de Taiwán están los grupos Amis, los Atayal, los Bunún, los Kavalan, los Paiwán, los Puyuma, los Rukai, los Saisiyat, los Sakizaya, los Seediq, los Tao, los Thao, los Tsou y los Truku. Todas estas tribus son reconocidas por la República de China. Aún quedan otras doce tribus no reconocidas por el Gobierno: las tribus Babuza, Basay, Ketagalan, Kulón, Luilang, Pazeh-Kaxabú, Papora, Qauqaut y Taokas.
Los Truku habitan dentro del Parque Nacional de Taroko, en la Cordillera Central de Taiwán. Tienen costumbres similares con los Atayal, cultivan y cazan en las montañas. Ambas tribus consideran al arco iris como un puente de divinidad que conduce donde los espiritus de los antepasados residen. Después de la muerte si ganan el paso, ellos se reunirán con sus ancestros al otro lado. Pero curiosamente las dos tribus no pueden comunicarse en sus propias lenguas.
Culturalmente se solía exigir que los hombres fueran buenos cazadores y expertos en la caza de cabezas humanas, dos condiciones necesarias para que pudieran llevar tatuajes en la cara. Es decir que un hombre podía ganar su tatuaje facial sólo después de cortar su primera cabeza. El tatuaje tenía que ganarse, por ser considerado una práctica social y espiritual.
También se esperaba que ellos fueran bien portados y generosos con los demás del grupo. Estas cualidades, además de ser rico y buen guerrero, resultaban atractivas para las mujeres.
De las mujeres se esperaba que fueran buenas en el arte de tejer y sólo las expertas podían llevar tatuajes faciales. Las mujeres con tatuajes faciales eran bellas ante los ojos de los hombres. Una buena mujer, aparte de estos adornos, debía ser además excelente ama de casa y amable con los demás miembros de la tribu.
En lo referente al matrimonio, los Truku no tenían la costumbre de adoptar como hijo al cuñado. En las campañas guerreras contra otra tribu, cualquier mujer que fuese capturada pertenecía al jefe. Los hombres truku podían escoger la mujer que quisieran pero para casarse necesitaban del permiso de los jefes y del consejo de ancianos. Los gastos de la boda eran pagados por los hombres poderosos de la tribu. Un hombre y una mujer no se podían casar a menos que estuvieran tatuados.
Sólo los hombres podían heredar propiedad. Dentro de la familia, cuando el primogénito y el segundo hijo se casaban y abandonaban el hogar, se les asignaba más parcelas de tierra para cultivar. Sin embargo, si el último hijo se casaba debía quedarse en el hogar y cuidar de sus padres. Las propiedades del padre pasaban entonces a manos del menor.
Como la mayoría de las tribus austronesianas, los Truku se rigían bajo un conjunto de tatuajes denominado gaya. Son las reglas pasadas por los antepasados. La gaya instruye las reglas desde la conducta social, la agricultura, la estación de cacería hasta la conducta guerrera y las ceremonias.
Dentro de la tribu sólo a los hombres honestos e inteligentes eran elegidos como líderes. Los líderes no recibían ningún pago excepto que siempre eran invitados de honor en cualquier fiesta.
En 1914, más de 20.000 soldados japoneses atacaron a 2.500-3.000 hombre truku en tres frentes en la región del parque nacional. Fue una masacre pues los truku peleaban con sus armas tradicionales primitivas. Se rindieron después de tres meses de pelear y sufrir bajas. En memoria de los caídos fueron erigidos altares de piedra. Taroko es hoy día una de las regiones más populares de Taiwán para el turismo.
