New genetically
modified corn on the market. This latest development in biotechnology has been
produced by Dow chemical. The GM corn is resistant to an herbicide (2,4-D) made
by the same company.
2,4-D kills the tough weeds but will also contaminate other crops many kilometers away, including the veggies in your garden.
