Someone has said that when John F. Kennedy said what he said about secret societies on his famous speech, he did not say what he should have said because he knew damn well what he could or could not say to the American people regarding his jacking around with secret societies. 

Why?

Because he himself "was member of a secret society", according to some researchers.
