ISLAMIC TEACHINGS AND VEGETARIANISM

The interpretation is the key to the interpretation of what needs an interpretation when people use intepretations to promote their interpretations to get other people to follow their interpretations.

And it must be the right interpretation. 

Otherwise, there will be no interpretation with an interpretation which can lead us to the right interpretation where we can be in peace with the interpretation.

In an article titled Islam and Vegetarianism, Brother Initiate Zamir Elahi, UK (Originally in English, states the following wise interpretation of the Islamic teachings on a plant-based diet:


"Many Hadith scriptures from the life of Prophet Mohammed as well as other Muslim Saints convey a depth of compassion and kindness towards animals and suggest that the primary duty of all Muslims is to care for the well-being of animals. The Prophet also emphasized the importance and effects of a vegetable-based diet, even forbidding the use of animal skins:  

 “Do not allow your stomachs to become graveyards!”

Obviously, there is wisdom everywhere to be picked up. It is just a matter whether or not we are ready to see and choose what will make us grow and put us in the direction Home.
