Petition to educate the Cambodian people that dogs are sentient beings

Dog meat is part of the diet in many Asian countries. But this should not justify cruelty to the dogs. The dogs are commonly kept confined, sometimes in darkness, and they are most often witnesses to the killing of their fellow captives. With a campaign to educate the population that dogs are very aware and emotional animals. Then we can hope for a more humane treatment of the canine family where they are not born and bred into a life of living hell and terror.
