Wikipedia (2015) gives a basic description of what PepsiCo, Inc. is all about: "an American multinational food and beverage corporation headquartered in Purchase, New York, United States, with interests in the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of grain-based snack foods, beverages, and other products. PepsiCo was formed in 1965 with the merger of the Pepsi-Cola Company and Frito-Lay, Inc. PepsiCo has since expanded from its namesake product Pepsi to a broader range of food and beverage brands, the largest of which includes an acquisition of Tropicana in 1998 and a merger with Quaker Oats in 2001, which added the Gatorade brand to its portfolio."

It is a big baby! A giant! This multinational now covers the entire globe with its products including bottled water in far places such as India. It is a humongous economic octopus with many tentacles.

You, one way or another, may be part of this industry as consumer

After all, consuming consumers - those that consume what they should not be consuming because they could end up being consumed sooner than they want or expect to be consumed - is what this is all about.

Chances are that when you play coach potato at home, sitting down to watch TV accompanied by a big bag of potato chips and a carbonated drink after work, your purchase will go to enrich the folks in Purchase, New York (USA) and beyond.

To give you an idea of the extend of this food and beverage giant around the world, we will direct you to a listing of the subsidiaries of PepsiCo, Inc.: Click here.

After reading the listing, haven´t you been surprised of this company´s global grasp?

Yeah. PepsiCo, Inc. Do its tentacles have you?

We take most of the things - if not all - for granted. Most people never take the time to learn about ancient cultures, to find out how these with their inventions have shaped our present way of life.

And way too many people could care less, being blinded by the prevaling shallow mainstream which is only interested in keeping humans enclosed in a pen shaped by ingenious social engineering designs so that the global elite can tap people´s vital energy for their secret agenda.

Learning about ancient cultures is connecting to them, for we are what they were and we could become what they became - only ruins - if we do not pay attention to what they did not or could not at the time and thus we avoid making the same mistakes they committed if we want to survive as a species.

We humans are not exempt from the phenomenon of extinction. We are only a small part of a whole. We have forgotten that, becoming destroyers of the whole that sustains us and by doing so we might be doomed in the not so distant future.

Thus, the study of history is not only fascinating but also important and binding, for we get to know and see our own link along the chain which compose what we all call "culture", which was defined by one of our professors of anthropology simply as "learnt behaviour"

So, wake up even for a short while and let us travel back in time to Sumer, the ancient civilisation that arose in southern Mesopotamia, the region we know today as Iraq.

This time Michael Wood takes us on a trip back in time to "Iraq, the cradle of civilisation" (Video 1). He says that "the history of Iraq is rich in splendors and sorrows. The most gifted of civilisations and yet the most tragic. The first attempt by humankind to bring people together in organised societies with a measure of happiness." We will learn that we do indeed owe a lot to Iraq.

FAT AND BLOOD MEAL: HUMANS GOING FAST FROM STARVATION, FOOD ADORATION AND FATTY STAGNATION TO DISINTEGRATION

Source: Health.

By Gundhramns Hammer
In a short period of time, some people may go from starvation to food adoration and then move on to fatty stagnation until one day their bodies give up and blow up and thus go on to their next and final station: Time for their disintegration by the action of bacteria, fungi and worms under piles of dirt belonging to Mother Earth that had to suffer the human constant overexploitation (Video 1).

Video 1. Overexplotation of living beings.

Their disintegration is big time for funeral industry. Likewise for the little critters that will chew up the dead bodies or for the living plants which will absorb the contaminated human ashes

Although short of showing the disintegration stage (death), for it scares the hell of most humans, when man overloads his own fucking fill station (stomach) from a fat and blood meal (Video 2), here is a couple of documentaries (Videos 3-4) that will give you a hint and hit of what happens sooner of later:

ALEMANIA EXPORTA ARMAS A PAISES VIOLADORES DE DERECHOS HUMANOS

Alemania: exportación de armas al mundo. Fuente: Spiegel Online

RUSSIA: MEATLESS MOSCOW

If you thought that Russians only dig juicy meat pies, stuffed dumplings, meat jelly, hearty beef stroganoff or any dishes dancing around a big chuck of cooked animal cadaver, you were wrong.

Today there are many people in Russia that have become vegans or vegetarians. As a matter of fact, leading a meatless lifestyle is quite popular in Moscow right now. They even have clubs and associations dealing with this new fashion.

The demand for veggies is growing in Moscow. And is expected to increase in the future.

This has lead to an increased consumption of soybeans and their by-products to begin with.

This is why soybean producers (e.g., Canada) are already smiling and cashing in with this kind of export.

And considering that people are hooked on sweets and scrumptious desserts, sugar consumption will also shoot up.

Russia already receives the largest percentage of Brazil´s exports on sugar

Overall, if humans (Homo insapiens) do not smarten up soon enough regarding how they handle their fucking environmental footprint, be them meat eaters or vegans or vegetarians, they all could very well be fucked up by Nature.

The way they are going, humans could be the next dodos

Remember, "you don´t try to fool Mother Nature".

Anyway, for whatever is worth here is a report on meatless Moscow (Video 1):

About five to ten percent of Muscovites are in fact vegetarians... whether for personal preference, religious or ethical reasons - all are causing a stir in the Russian capital.

So on this weeks culture show Moscow Out myself and the team explore vegetarian restaurants, a salad factory and various other exciting venues connected with meat free diets!

Peoples habits are changing! And in modern day Moscow - it's all about a "new way of life".
