The new China is powerful and rich yes but the price to feed its economic progress is too high: polluting the environment and sacrificing its own people.
It is a clear example that humans are not as smart as they appear to be. Naked apes (Homo sapiens) are good at making all sorts of gadgets, machines, satellites, weapons, etc., but extremely stupid when it comes to taking care of their own environment. Humans are irrational subanimals with heads full of EM poop. Bacteria do a better job at surviving without screwing the entire planet!!
