Quietly in a corner of the world, deep in the mountains there was a secret meeting done by the eldest inhabitants of the planet, the ANCIENT TREES. There was a discussion to choose the humans that have defended the lives of forests in the world.
The ANCIENT TREES have encountered some humans that do indeed deserved their ANCIENT TREE PRIZE and make them full members of their TRIBE. Not many but there a few nevertheless.
Last YEAR 2011 the ANCIENT TREE PRIZE went to MIRANDA GIBSON of TASMANIA, for her deep caring of the OLDEST TREES on planet EARTH.
Many of us talk about saving the environment. But talking is cheap. We are too comfortable to move a finger. We are trapped in the mire of consumerism.
There are a lot of institutions that supposedly protect the environment but to be honest, they are only protecting the grand economical interests that are making this planet sick. And we like stupids buy the products that they shove us down the throat with the help of the media.
Tons of papers are written regarding the state of the planet and yet we continue destroying our very home. It is just paper shuffling to excuse high salaries and the sea of human sheep just say baah!! How sad!!!
But MIRANDA GIBSON not only talks but also delivers (Videos 1-2). . And by God she delivers!!! She fights for the lives of the ANCIENT TREES OF TASMANIA.
