In the global human zoo, most people cannot contain their mental storms or hells in place. And if they have money, they will do their fucking best to bring some remedy to their inner hells.

To do so, if possible, some people will often travel to the remotest places on Earth, trying to leave their troubles behind. They frequently go there with the hopes of fucking someone or getting fucked by someone or simply to change airs, hoping to see exotic animals shit, fuck or fart just to get a photo of them to show off to their friends later at home.

No wonder these restless suckers have become the basis for a fast growing industry.

Ecotourism is big business. It is also a source of income for many developing nations. Many people depend on it to make a living as well.

According to the EBSCO Sustainability Watch 2009 Report on ecotourism, "the travel and tourism industry makes up 230 million jobs worldwide; by 2010, this figure is estimated to grow to 250 million, or 1 in every 11 jobs. Tourism is the principal source of income for 83% of developing countries. Globally, ecotourism generates $77 billion in revenue and makes up 5-7% of the overall travel and tourism market. It is one of the fastest growing sectors in the travel industry, with a growth rate of 10-30%. According to information published by the Nature Conservancy, the regions most visited by US ecotourists are: Central America (38%), South America (25%), North America (18%), Mexico and the Caribbean (5%)".

It sounds good, doesn´t it?

Overall, nobody can deny that a well-focused ecotourism project can have beneficial impacts upon local communities and wildlife conservation.

But ecotourism has also a dark side.

Ecotourism can serve as a channel for the international mafia to push in their dirty money to be laundered.

And this happens more than you can imagine. Most major tourism companies always have their firms registered in tax haven paradises such as Panama. This means a big slew of phantom firms hiding behind the main one.

This is called narco-ecotourism.

Beyond this, and most important to keep in mind, it is the animals that may get the end of the stick, putting at risk their survival.

For example, human presence, in other words, ecotourists´ interaction with animals in national parks or animal sanctuaries, makes animals easy going to a point that they get less careful about their natural predators or poachers.

And this is dangerous for the survival of the species.

Your ecotouristic globe trotting, which usually depends on a toxic gas farting airplane, can be good and bad at the same time. Directly or indirectly.

Is it sustainable?

No one will tell you it is, unless they feed off you.

So, what are you going to do about your when you get a severe case of nagging restlessness or hell inside your head?

Why not try yoga at home or somewhere else?

Have you ever thought of changing your diet?

Wheat fields are drenched with pesticides. Thus, white flour products make people not only sick but also restless.

Moreover, refined flour products contain alloxan, a chemical substance that literally kills your pancreas.

Refined sugar adds more wood to this burning fire.

Processed meats - chemical cocktails containing all sorts of crap from preservative-filled nanoparticles (e.g., silver nanoparticles in chicken), additives and antibiotics to dangerous pathogens - will lower your body´s natural resistance, screw up your colon, make you short-tempered, i.e. you get upset or fucking mad easily, amongst other things not good for you.

Besides, some processed meats contain human DNA. Good news if you are a cannibal!

So, watch your diet. Consider switching to a plant-based diet. Go organic.

On your spare time, try to stay at home and get to know yourself through meditation and introspection.

The more you get to know yourself, the less you will feel the need to get on the move, unnecessarily.

And remember, there are many ways to help poor people and wildlife.

One way is to find a good and sound human aid or wildlife conservation association which have good local projects and make a donation.

How can you help indirectly?

Do a serious overhaul to your consumption or overconsumption habits.

Do not be wasteful. Get on the if you don´t need it, don´t buy it swing.

Good luck!

And give animals a break!
